After being disappointed by all the ratty other Ranger's out there and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. Very rare to find in such excellent, garaged kept condition. Very hard to find one not messed with and hacked up. 1 owner since new, and never out of CA. Fully loaded with power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, leather wrapped steering wheel, 4 doors, rear fold down jump seats, CD player, tow package, original Ford bed liner that is mark and gouge free, sliding rear window, and 3.73 traction lock rear end. Most of these trucks do not have limited slip like this one (meaning both rear wheels power is distributed equally to both rear wheels) etc. Both original Ford PATS keys and keyless entry remotes. Original owners manuals. No dents in the body or perfect chrome bumpers. No accidents or paint work ever. Washed weekly since new and waxed at least once per month. Pride of ownership shows in every aspect of this immaculate truck. Pay a little more and get A LOT more with this truck, over the others out there where you are most likely buying someone else's problems!!   This 2004 Ranger XLT 4 Door was purchased new at Fiesta Ford in Indio, CA and has been in the Southern CA desert it whole life. Was always garaged kept in Palm Desert, CA when not being driven. 90K, original 1 owner miles. There was a light knocking noise since around 40K miles that the Ford dealer thought was the transmission, so it was fully rebuilt in 07 (see Carfax below). Noise still persisted and got louder and louder with time. These 3.0 Vulcan motors are known to be excellent engines and run 300K+ miles, but have 2 flaws. One being that the valve seats were poor quality and the valves would end up getting sunk into the heads causing a misfire, and the other was a poor cam synchronizer design that would starve the wrist pins of oil (that's what the noise was on this truck). The new crate motor now installed in this truck was new from Ford with both the improved Ste-lite valve seats that will not wear out, and the improved synchronizer that properly oils the wrist pins. So no worries at all with this truck. Engine was professionally installed at my shop 1653 miles ago.  No leaks, knocks, or odd noises of any kind. All new Fel Pro gaskets, water pump, oil pump, radiator, and fluids installed when new engine was installed. Smooth power, transmission shifts perfect (remember it was rebuilt by Ford), no overheating even in 110 degree heat!!) Truck needs nothing. You will not find a nicer, immaculate, no worry truck for this price!! I am both a PS and TRS on ebay, which less than 1% of seller are, and have a 100% positive feedback score, so have no worries. If you are serious, I know you will read every word, and look at every picture! This is the type of person I am looking for. This Ranger is priced for a quick sale to the discriminating enthusiast/collector that appreciates all the details, cleanliness, and correctness of a nice, solid, ready to go truck with out the worries of it breaking down due to the 3.0's flaws, or the gas hog 4.0 that throws timing chains. Great daily driver, or to use when you need to haul things. Perfect advertising vehicle for your business too and can even be a tax write-off if used as such!! Stops very well with no pulls and straight. Has front power discs and huge rear drums with ABS. Radiator was replaced with a new one when engine was installed and new thermostat. New coolant and distilled water. Does not get hot even idling in 110 degree heat for 25 minutes. It starts right up and sounds great! Engine oil, oil filter, and air filter are all new and changed again after 300 break in miles on new engine. Transmission fluid, rear end fluid (with Ford limited slip additive), and power steering fluid are also all new and all synthetics. Windshield brand new. Tires are all matching brand and size (Primwell, made for Firestone) and are around 75%. Chrome wheels have no scuffs of any kind. many original marking on the immaculate underside, which has been detailed frequently since new and Pig Spit protectant applied to preserve all finishes. Original owner (customer of mine) did not want to spend the money on the new engine when the noise got louder a few months ago, so I bought it from him and installed the brand new Ford crate engine that I already had as a spare for another Ranger of mine. You will be the second owner of this truck on record. Clear signed CA title and signed bill of sale for easy transfer. Truck needs nothing at all. I have driven it 1653 miles since the new engine and there are no issues at all. In my 20 years in the Mustang business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer, well maintained, immaculate truck! I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) that are 10 years old and still look and drive better than new. Interior even still smells new. Cigarette lighter never used. Does not have the power steering moan like most have. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. It is very easy to drive and maneuver, much more so than full size trucks, plus gets much better gas mileage. This truck will get 25+ on the freeway. It starts the first time, EVERY time. It idles smoothly and does not smoke. Original seat belts are excellent. Factory leather wrapped steering wheel and all buttons look like new. None of the original silk screening has worn off anything inside. You simply can NOT find another like this!!! This is a one in a million truck, hands down!   Underside, and engine box kept clean since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet is immaculate and original floor mats have always been covered when driven since new. Seats look great too. No holes or unraveling . Never been smoked in. Still has new car smell. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this truck, hands down, better than I can. A/C is ice cold, and heat hot. Everything on this truck works. No squeaks or rattles.   Truck is available for inspection and can be shipped anywhere. Out of country buyers welcome too, if you arrange shipping.
