This 2001 BMW R1150GS is in excellent original condition, and is ready to ride as-is for its new owner. This motorcycle has been stored indoors for the past year, and with a skillful detail will polish up like-new! With 14,938 original miles, this BMW has been expertly maintained by a true enthusiast, and has been well cared for its entire life. The Yellow Finish on the fuel tank and body panels is in excellent condition, and still shines with great depth and clarity. There are some light scuffs on the left hand side of the front upper valence, which is hardly noticeable, and no attempt to wet sand, polish, or repair this scuff has been made. The tires are deep in tread and free from any dry rot or corrosion. There is some mild corrosion to be found on various hardware components, but this is all surface related and will be easy to remove. This motorcycle is being presented in completely original undetailed condition. All plastic components are excellent, with no sun bleaching or deterioration anywhere on this BMW. The Boxter engine starts without hesitation even after being in storage for over a year. The fuel was drained in order to prevent damage to the fuel system. You will find an ample amount of power throughout the entire RPM range, and the 6 speed gear box shifts seamlessly. The ABS lights seen in the video included are due to a low battery, which is a common issue.
