Fully restored with as many of the original parts as possible maintained. Engine: V8 289 Transmission 3-Speed Manual Street legal and fully registered in Virginia I purchased this car in 2003. Before I purchased it, the car had not been registered since 1983. I believe the car has about 142,000 miles on it. The mileage is my best guess based on how the engine is running - It runs well, but smokes a little and I did not rebuild it. As of 08/01/14, the odometer read 41,560 miles. I did most of the restoration work myself and spent more than $11,000 on parts. Replacement included the floorpan, master cylinder, slave cylinders, all flexible brake hoses and shoes, new wheels and tires, all of the chrome parts, new heater coil and radiator (3-core radiator), new heater plenum, new headliner, re-upholstered the seats, replaced all of the soft dash board parts and dash board plastic, but retained the original gauges, replaced the exhaust system, new shock absorbers, new carburetor, and many small parts. This car is ready to go now and could easily be driven home or to your local Mustang club.
