It even has modern air conditioning! Modifications We have installed a Gilmore Enterprises air conditioning system. It blows cold and strong. There is a Kenwood stereo with eight speakers and four cross overs. It is set up for bluetooth or IPod use. The engine was upgraded with a 2 barrell Weber carburetor. Interior We installed new door panels and seat covers. The floor in the front and back have been bed lined and carpet was installed in the front. This camper is fitted with a pull out bed, bench seat, single seat, ice box, sink with manual pump, curtains, and baby cot We maintained the original mustard fabric as it was in very good condition and replacement material is no longer available in that color. All the finishing panels have been replaced and finished in a dark gray vinyl. The headliner is original and was not reconditioned. It has some fading but was in acceptable condition. There is a slight tear in the right door panel next to the speaker. Exterior The bus has been painted inside and out. And the trim has been replaced. The VW emblem is a rare early chrome plated steel version, no plastic. All the window seals have been replaced with new German reproductions. We applied the lightest tint possible. It provides UV protection to the interior and conceals the curtains. There were some chips in the paint from reassembly, however they have all been covered with the same paint that the car was painted with and buffed out. Drivetrain Engine runs strong with the Weber conversion. It has new valve cover gaskets, points/condensor, cap/rotor, plugs/wires, fuel pump and filter Transmission has been rebuilt and the clutch is new. The flywheel has been resurfaced. The lower CV boots have been replaced. Tires/Wheels The five wheels have been sandblasted and painted white. The five tires have less than 100 miles. Brakes The entire brake system has been over hauled. There are new calipers, wheel cylinders, hardware, pads and shoes, flex lines, and master cylinder Remaining The clips for the sun visors, the heater control valves, and the light switch are all being replaced. We have installed a Gilmore Enterprises air conditioning system. It blows cold and strong. There is a Kenwood stereo with eight speakers and four cross overs. It is set up for bluetooth or IPod use. The engine was upgraded with a 2 barrell Weber carburetor.

Interior

We installed new door panels and seat covers. The floor in the front and back have been bed lined and carpet was installed in the front.

This camper is fitted with a pull out bed, bench seat, single seat, ice box, sink with manual pump, curtains, and baby cot

We maintained the original mustard fabric as it was in very good condition and replacement material is no longer available in that color.

All the finishing panels have been replaced and finished in a dark gray vinyl. The headliner is original and was not reconditioned. It has some fading but was in acceptable condition.

There is a slight tear in the right door panel next to the speaker.

Exterior

The bus has been painted inside and out. And the trim has been replaced. The VW emblem is a rare early chrome plated steel version, no plastic.

All the window seals have been replaced with new German reproductions.

We applied the lightest tint possible. It provides UV protection to the interior and conceals the curtains.

There were some chips in the paint from reassembly, however they have all been covered with the same paint that the car was painted with and buffed out.

Drivetrain

Engine runs strong with the Weber conversion. It has new valve cover gaskets, points/condensor, cap/rotor, plugs/wires, fuel pump and filter

Transmission has been rebuilt and the clutch is new. The flywheel has been resurfaced. The lower CV boots have been replaced.

Tires/Wheels

The five wheels have been sandblasted and painted white. The five tires have less than 100 miles.

Brakes

The entire brake system has been over hauled. There are new calipers, wheel cylinders, hardware, pads and shoes, flex lines, and master cylinder

Remaining

The clips for the sun visors, the heater control valves, and the light switch are all being replaced.

Buyer is responsible for arranging for pick-up. We have a loading dock and are happy to assist with loading.
