Vehicle Detail

THIS ITEM HAS BEEN RE-LISTED. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT PAY. I have owned this Lincoln for about 17 years and bought it from the second owner who had owned it since 1980. He was VERY old, but claimed that the 48,000 miles at the time were original (I have no way to know if this is true or if it is 550,000, but the car is pretty nice and has not been repainted) The odometer now shows 51,071. It has been stored amongst my collection in dry heated storage since I bought the car. This is an all original car inside and out. As seen in the pictures it does have some rust, but is not a rust bucket. I photographed the worst sections of rust, (one rear door jamb and one rear fender) none of the other door jambs have considerable rust as one does. Otherwise the paint still retains a great gloss and looks spectacular going down the road. The original painted pinstripes are still intact in in good shape overall. Bumpers and bright work are shiny and nice. Glass is all good. The interior is virtually flawless with light blue velour seats, an uncracked dash, good wood grain trim, clean door panels with no cracks or tears in armrests or pulls. Original floor mats and carpets are both in great shape. I installed an am/fm/cd player with remote under the dash without any cutting or drilling whatsoever. All power windows work (including power vents), power locks work except the driver door which needs an actuator, power seats work, cruise control works, brakes are great, all gauges work, power trunk release works, illuminated entry works, wipers work. This is an outstanding driver-quality car which is always a kick at cruise-in car shows. Car starts and runs great and drives quiet and straight like a Lincoln should! I would drive the car anywhere and am selling because it gets driven so seldom. It has, however, been started and driven sparingly on a regular basis to prevent the seals from shrinking and leaking. Please feel free to message with any questions, or call John at 701-729-6839. NO RESERVE THIS CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND IS SUBJECT TO BEING SOLD PRIOR TO AUCTION END. IF YOU WISH TO OWN THIS CAR, PLEASE CONTACT ME ABOUT AN OFFER TO END THE AUCTION AND OWN THE CAR.
