For sale is my 1971 Scout 800-B, these 800-B's are rare they were only made for approximately 6-8 months from (Aug,1970-To Feb,1971). I hope the photos do this truck justice. The Scout is in good shape. It's an original California truck and has spent its entire life here in California. There are no rust issues, the Scout has been very well maintained its entire life. I receive complements on this truck everyday. The Scout has its numbers matching 304 engine which is very strong and sound. The Transmission is a T-18, 4-speed with 3.55 gears. New shocks, new leaf spring bushings. All new belts and hoses. The top end of the motor has been recently gone through, all new gaskets, push rods, etc. The oil pan gasket is new, also the valve cover gaskets are new. I believe these are the factory wheels, the tires are in good shape Approx 70-80% tread remaining. The interior of the Scout has been completely redone in a Camel colored Vinyl, which corresponds very well with the newly painted exterior color of Dark Grey met. The front windshield and three rear windows have new weatherstripping. The Scout doesn't currently have a radio installed. The Scout is currently tagged and registered here in California and I have the clear title in hand. This is a very nice old Scout, truly an outstanding truck and will be loads of fun as a great daily driver or for off road trips. The Scout is Registered and I have the clear California Title in hand. Just a very cool vintage SUV. I have the Scout Listed locally and don't think it'll last long.
