Check out this Kool 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe.GOING AT NO RESERVE!!!!! This slick ride is a friend of mines which I sold to him few years ago. It is time for a new home!! I believe this car has been a local car most its life. I was told from the man I purchased it from that it was his Dads and he bought it new. The paint on the car is over 25 years old and still shows very well for its age. There is one spot on the back near trunk lid that the seam is starting to crack a bit at the factory weld joint. Other than that and a few small chips. It shows very well. The interior is in good shape. The front seat is new and just recovered and the Steering wheel is new old stock. There are no rips or tears on the interior. Seats look like new. Headliner looks great and the carpet is new. The paint on the top of the inside of the doors show some wear from arms hanging out over the years. The dash is in good shape and paint shows well on it. The door pulls need to be refastened. They are under the drivers seat. We were getting ready to freshin them up. However they can be installed prior to pick up. The dash is in good shape with exception of the factory gauges that are not functioning at the moment( Temp Gauge, Fuel Gauge and Speedo). The speedo needs the head unit repaired. Those are the only items I know of that needs addressed on this kool ride. There are a set of aftermarket gauges that do function on the lower center of the dash. They read more accurate. The engine is a 1968 Corvette 327 V8 with Double Hump Heads with a 4bbl Carb. We did decode the engine. It runs out strong and smooth!! Plus the car was just tuned up and serviced! The transmission is a new Turbo 350 3speed automatic on the column. Probably only has a few hundred miles on it. Shifts out great and smooth also. The whole front suspension has been gone through with all new parts. Has been put back stock. Which make the car drive true and straight. No wondering all over the road as most 50"s cars do. The brakes also have all been gone through front and rear and the car brakes true. They were redone stock and they are 4 wheel drums. They car has also had new dual exhaust and it has a nice cruisin sound. Not to loud!! The real nice thing about this sweet ride is it a great solid car. No serious rust or rout at all!! The body is straight as an arrow and all doors, hood and trunk shut solid. Rain visors on the door still work properly. Remember this is a NO POST car too. Another good thing about this slick ride is that all the chrome trim is there and in good shape over all. There are new chrome end pieces for the rear bumper in the trunk ready to be installed. The miles on the odo show 62000, however we are selling the car as tmu due to the age and the way VA DMV titles classics now. The title is clear with no wreck or salavge history. This sweet ride will make some one a great everyday driver or cruiser. Or a great base for a full restoration, due to it is all there and a very solid ride(Body and Frame). Plus all the trim is intact. All lights, signal lights, tail lights, dash lights and reverse lights function as they should. All you need do is turn the key and GO!! I have driven the car for the past couple of days and it is a joy to drive and turns heads. Just not fun to parallel park if you know what I mean! This is a TRUE BEL AIR and other than a few minor things all I can think of this Slick ride needs is another good owner and home. I COULD BE YOU!! It is getting harder to find nice true drivers like this anymore. This will make someone a great INVESTMENT and you can have FUN with YOUR MONEY AT THE SAME TIME!! Also found out sending unit for gas gauge is only $35.00 and easy install. New speedo if need is only $199.00. However could just be cable. going to check out on Monday.
