This auction is for a 1999 Saturn SL2 Home Coming Edition, twin-cam, 4 door, auto, ac, pw, pl, tilt, cruise, leather with 128k miles. It runs good, would be a great point A to B vehicle for delivery or just to get around. We drove this vehicle on the highway to get to my used car lot roughly 40 miles and it ran flawlessly with no issues. ***PLEASE READ THIS AD ENTIRELY BEFORE DECIDING TO BID, THIS IS A USED VEHICLE WITH NO WARRANTY*** Engine and Transmission don't make any abnormal sounds. Transmission shifts through all the gears and does not slip. Has factory am/fm CD. Body is in decent condition, clear coat has some peeling in some places, no visible rust, no major body damage. Has leather interior that shows some wear that should be expected. AC does not blow cold, may need Freon, heat works fine, drivers side rear window does not work, headliner sagging. Has current PA inspection until November. This was a new vehicle trade-in and is being sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied, you are welcome to have your mechanic come to my location by appointment to inspect it BEFORE BIDDING at your expense. My feedback is 100% and would like to keep it that way so please ask me any and all questions BEFORE bidding! This is a 15 year old car and has wear, dings, dents, and there are probably other things I may be missing that it needs but seems to be in mechanically (engine/trans) good drivable condition, I am no mechanic but have been selling cars for 15+years. The vehicle has a clear PA title, if you are a PA resident you will be required to pay 8% sales tax in Philadelphia or 6% outside Philly. I can provide a Tag with your insurance to drive it home at a nominal fee. Out of state buyers will just need a photo ID, I do not have Intransit tags but there is an Auto Tag place not far that can provide one for around $60-$75 with your insurance and licence. I suggest towing if you live more than 50 miles from Philly since I cannot tell you any history of the vehicle other than what I listed here, once you inspect the normal wear items, hoses, etc, give it a tune-up and oil change, I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a daily driver like it most likely was before being traded at a new car dealer. I will leave that decision up to the buyer. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal at the end of the auction to reserve the vehicle for you, the balance will be due in CASH ONLY at time of pickup, no checks will be accepted. I will allow 7 days after auction end to pick it up once initial deposit is received unless we agree on other terms.
