This auction is for a 1997 Chevy S10 Blazer 4 door, it's got a Vortec 4.3L V6, auto OD trans, 4x4 with 143k+ miles. It would make a great off road vehicle or snow plow vehicle, even a daily drive once it is gone over by a mechanic. We drove this vehicle on the highway to get to my used car lot roughly 40 miles and it ran flawlessly with no issues. ***PLEASE READ THIS AD ENTIRELY BEFORE DECIDING TO BID, THIS IS A USED VEHICLE WITH NO WARRANTY*** Engine and Transmission don't make any abnormal sounds with the exception of a belt tensioner that makes a squealing belt sound when you first start it and continues when it's on but not as loud....will probably need replacing. Transmission shifts through all the gears and does not slip. Has a plow hook up on the front, that is why the bumper is not there. NO RADIO, looks to have had an aftermarket stereo with amp, etc. that was removed before being traded. Body is in decent condition, clear coat on the hood has some peeling, no visible rust, chassis is solid, no major body damage. Has a body lift kit, I believe it is 3" but not 100% sure. Has 5 BFG off road tires on factory alloy wheels, spare included. Passenger seat reclining mechanism is broken and seat needs to be fixed or replaced, interior shows some wear. Air/Heater fan is not working, may be fuse or blower motor. PA inspection expired April 2014. This was a new vehicle trade-in and is being sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied, you are welcome to have your mechanic come to my location by appointment to inspect it BEFORE BIDDING at your expense. My feedback is 100% and would like to keep it that way so please ask me any and all questions BEFORE bidding! This is a 17 year old truck and has wear, dings, dents, and there are probably other things I may be missing that it needs but seems to be in mechanically (engine/trans) good drivable condition, I am no mechanic but have been selling cars for 15+years. The vehicle has a clear PA title, if you are a PA resident you will be required to pay 8% sales tax in Philadelphia or 6% outside Philly. I can provide a Tag with your insurance to drive it home at a nominal fee. Out of state buyers will just need a photo ID, I do not have Intransit tags but there is an Auto Tag place not far that can provide one for around $60-$75 with your insurance and licence. I suggest towing if you live more than 50 miles from Philly since I cannot tell you any history of the vehicle other than what I listed here, once you inspect the normal wear items, hoses, etc, give it a tune-up and oil change, I don't see any reason why it couldn't be a daily driver like it most likely was before being traded at a new car dealer. I will leave that decision up to the buyer. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal at the end of the auction to reserve the vehicle for you, the balance will be due in CASH ONLY at time of pickup, no checks will be accepted. I will allow 7 days after auction end to pick it up once initial deposit is received unless we agree on other terms.
