Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1972 BMW R75/5. Bike has a Vermont registration that serves as a title in the state of Vermont in my name. I bought it as a project for myself and never did anything with it. So I will be listing is as a non running project. The frame number, vin plate number and engine block number all match. The engine does turn over. The seat is in bad shape. The wires for the rear lights where cut but easy fix.The tank was dented when I got it, so cant tell you what happened. Tires hold air. Throttle does not tighten all the way down. Bike is missing the battery tray but mostly complete and would make a perfect restoration project. Check out the 44 picture slideshow I provided in the listing along with the walk around video. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow and video. They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all of the pictures, including the slideshow pictures, fully watch the video, and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them. Thank you and happy bidding! The description of this motorcycle is written to the best of my knowledge. However, I am by no means an expert on vintage motorcycles.
