1978 Plymouth Volare Super Coupe. I of 494 optioned with this package. This car has a complete rebuild on the suspension system and brakes. Number matching 360 CI HP police engine has been rebuilt to the 340 specs that were used in 1970 and 1971. The body is still original except for the rear deck lid and hood have been replaced. The car has less than 40,000 original miles. When I acquired the car it still had the original factory tires (rotted from sitting). This car is registered with the Galen Registry as #22 of 34 Super Coupes. Other factory options are functioning A/C (fully charged and working), cruise control, Factory 8 track AM/FM radio, Digital clock, and factory collapsible spare with inflator. The car could be a daily driver if so desired. Fly in and drive home. New tires, rebuilt suspension and brakes, new gas tank. Car has had some fender repair near passenger headlight, very minor rust in trunk fender extensions. Paint appears to be factory original except trunk lid and the flat black on the hood and top. The stripe kit is new. Some of the window moldings are losing the black anodized color and are purple in color. Interior appears as original. The rear package deck is faded; the driver’s seat has a couple of places where the stitching has split and the console lid has had some extra support added because of the hinge attachment area. The carpet is new with floor mats. I have all the original engine items removed during the engine rebuilt which include the exhaust manifolds, complete original exhaust system, air cleaner and some other misc items. Some original Chrysler material about this car are part of the sale. This is a great investment opportunity for a rare car.
