I am offering this 1974 Corvette Stingray 4 speed L48 at auction today. This vehicle was purchased in Washington State in 2012 and I am at least the second owner. The previous owner had the vehicle in storage before I bought it and it's been garaged during my ownership. This 1974 Corvette Stingray is mostly original and has the following known aftermarket features: Rear spoiler Radio and antenna Air filter (K&N) Carburetor (Edelbrock) Intake manifold (Edelbrock) Cylinder heads and valve covers Mild performance cam shaft Headers and exhaust (exhaust is not loud) Spark plugs & wires Distributor Coil Rear composite mono leaf spring Wheels and tires All other items are original. This classic C3 Corvette has the original L48 engine and 4 Speed transmission. Transmission was professional rebuilt in 2012. Brakes are new along with the water pump, power steering pump and power steering hoses, full body weatherstripping and head gasket. T-Tops are in good condition and seal well with new weatherstripping. Paint is the original Dark Green and the interior is the original Tan. Interior is solid and all carpeting is intact. All gauges, speedometer and tachometer work with the exception of the infamous clock. All dash light bulbs have been replaced. Vacuum operated headlights work, blinkers and lights work. Power windows work and the doors are true and open and shut solidly. Windshield wipers and pump work (pump rebuilt and wiper switch replaced). Emergency brake works. Door locks work and rear window defogger works. Heater works and there is no factory A/C installed. Radio works with two rear speakers. Dash speakers are not hooked up. There is surface rust on the frame, but the frame is solid and original. This is a 30 foot car. The original paint is chipped and/or bubbling in some places. The front and rear bumpers are the original urethane bumpers and are cracked (see pictures). There is also a small gouge out of the front edge of the drivers side door in the vicinity of the door spring (1.5cm wide). There is also a gouge out of the front lower drivers side quarter panel below the side light and a small hole in the same area on the opposite side. But it will still turn heads going down the street. I still get thumbs up at stop lights. I am selling this vehicle with the factory Assembly Instruction Manual, Owners manual, and Corvette Shop Manual. I have both dash speakers ready to install that I will include with this purchase. The NADA low value for this car is $11,250 and eBay fair value is $12,500. I am selling this car with a Low Reserve and check out the low BUY IT NOW price. This car has been taken care of but needs a new home that isn't in my small garage. Keep in mind this is still a relatively low mileage car for its age.
