Summary Up for auction is a 2-Owner 2006 Acura TSX with 107,310 miles that has been my commuter car and has seen mostly long distance trips to and from the office and work related customer locations. It's been an extremely reliable vehicle that has been extremely well maintained, has never been smoked in and has always been garage kept. The car comes equipped with a rare 6-speed manual transmission, traction and stability control, front heated leather seats, built in Bluetooth hands free calling, satellite radio, in-dash CD changer and power sliding moon roof. I have all service records since day one and will pass on to the buyer. This car was almost exclusively dealer serviced for the first 90K miles. Condition Report The VTEC engine is strong and powerful, starting up effortlessly every time and the manual transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch has plenty of grab and life left. The heater heats the car up quickly in the winter and the A/C blows ice cold in the summer. The battery has already been replaced with a long life battery so it's good for a few more years. The EPA estimates the mileage at 22 city/30 highway - I got about 28 mpg in mixed highway/local driving, always using the required premium fuel. This worked well for me given the excellent performance of this vehicle's engine. On the exterior, the Carbon Gray Pearl paint is in very good condition, with only normal wear for its age, which means there are a some minor surface exterior scratches or tiny paint chips and one or two minor door dings (hardly noticeable) from everyday driving. I could not find any visible rust on the body. The paint is very glossy over the entire body with only minor imperfections that are normal for a car of this age and has absolutely no dents. The undercarriage is also clean and in great condition and this car does not have any fluid drips or leaks. The matching tires are newer and have excellent remaining tread life (80%+). All 4 tires are matching all season Kumho Ecsta 4X XL 215/50R17s with only 12,000 miles on them! All 4 wheels are factory original and a few have some very minor curb rash, but it didn't bother me at all when I purchased the vehicle and they still look great to me. Please note: In full disclosure, the first owner had a 5 mph minor front fender bender in traffic with another vehicle a few years ago and there was no damage done to either car, but the other vehicle's owner reported the accident to the police. You may see the accident noted as "minor_damage" on the Autocheck and Carfax reports but there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing was damaged or replaced and both cars drove away from the accident. I invite you to have the car inspected if you would like to verify for yourself. On the interior, the Quartz front leather seats are still in above average shape with minor wear and the rear seats also look great with the only flaw a minor nick in the rear driver's side seat leather (see picture). All of the trim panels and trim pieces are intact, tight and in great condition. This is a non-smoker vehicle, and therefore you will not find any smoke odors or burn marks inside this TSX. All lighting, mirrors, interior buttons and switches are functioning properly and all electronics work as they should. The power sunroof opens and closes smoothly. The floor mats are genuine factory black Acura TSX all season floor mats and have been kept in very good shape. The trunk area is likewise in good and clean condition (see photos) and the spare tire, jack and accessories are all there. Two OEM Acura keys and two fully functional OEM Acura keyless entry remotes are included, the original owner's and maintenance manuals, as well two cards that respectively contain the factory radio reset code and Acura roadside assistance. You typically only get 1 key/remote and sometimes not even the owner's manual, but not with this car! This vehicle has a valid NJ inspection sticker good through September 2014 and it's ready to drive away with nothing that needs to be done until the next oil change in approximately 1,000 miles. So by now you might be wondering, why am I selling the TSX if it's so great? Well, that's an excellent question and I would definitely want to know this if I were interested in this buying a quality used vehicle like you are. It's very simple. I recently accepted a new Sales position and because I will likely be driving 20-25K miles per year and also entertaining clients from time to time, my company is giving me a monthly stipend to purchase a vehicle of my choice. Although the TSX only has 107K miles on it, I would like to have something newer for when I take out clients. On the downside, I have spent a lot of money maintaining this car to run flawlessly and I really love it (it's my baby), so it's very bittersweet to have to sell it, but maintaining and insuring 3 cars in NJ is not going to fly with my wife, so unfortunately my loss is your gain...
