Selling my 2003 Suzuki SV1000S because, with 4 kids, I have little to no time to ride anymore. I absolutely love this bike and it is in great shape and has been well taken care of. I’m only the second owner and have put most of the miles on the bike myself. I’ve ridden it responsibly and it has never been down or ridden hard. Currently the bike has just under 10K miles on it. The mileage could increase a bit as a take it out a few last times, but not by much. These bikes were made to be ridden forever and you’ll regularly see them with 40K or 50K, sometimes over 100K miles. I’ve got the title clear and in hand ready to be transferred to buyer. The bike has more than enough power, is comfortable for long rides, and has amazing amounts of torque. Even though it’s a big powerful bike (~120hp and top speed north of 150mph), it does well on gas too and I would regularly get 50-60+mpg. Although it’s not hard to handle or unpredictable, this IS NOT a bike that I would recommend for beginners. Cosmetically the bike is in great condition. No rust, dents, dings, cracks in plastics, or anything else to report. Some light scratches to the clear coat here and there, but nothing serious. There is a bit of ‘chipping’ on the exhaust, but this is unavoidable. Over $1000 in tasteful modifications, including: - Dual Two Brothers Racing Exhaust (the bike sounds amazing with these pipes, it has a deep rumble that, in my opinion, sounds way better than any of the 4 in line bikes out there) - Fender eliminator - Flush mount turn signals - Professionally lowered (I believe it was 3 inches) - Touring windshield (this is in additional to the blacked out racing windshield currently mounted to the bike) I just changed the oil with Mobil 1 Synthetic and added a new filter. New Pirelli Diablo tires were put on around 2000 miles ago, thousands of miles left in them. New YUSA battery installed beginning of this summer. Not a single issue with the bike, it’s ready to ride, performs like new, and needs absolutely nothing but a rider. Included as extras with the bike: - Joe Rocket Suzuki Jacket (XL) – I’m 5’10, ~175# and the jacket fits me great. It includes full armor and is in great shape. Matches the bike perfectly. The jacket was around $350.00 new - Original short windshield - Fieldsheer saddlebags – on bag has a small hole that occurred when the bag touched the muffler while they were on another bike. Easy snap on/off. I paid around $200 for the bags Local pickup only. I'm located at zip code 43845 in Ohio (about 1.5hr east of Columbus). I'd be willing to drive 100 or so miles to accommodate pick up if necessary, for no additional charge. I am requiring a $350 deposit after purchase to ensure buyer is serious.
