Here is my 1971 Triumph TR6 restoration project car that I am selling as is. I have had this car for 2 years but have done nothing since the purchase. Too many projects, too little time, so I've decided it's time to let this one go to a new home. Mileage is listed at 98,996 but true mileage is unknown as the speedometer and tachometer have been removed for the installation of a new ignition switch. The car is in visibly good condition with good fenders, doors, quarters, hood, and trunk lid. The rear deck panel behind the cockpit is bad as are the floor pans and trunk floor. I do have a replacement deck panel with the deck panel extensions purchased from Moss Motors that are included in this sale. There is some surface rust on parts of the body as can be expected on any 40 year old car. There is also the typical rust that is common to the TR6's in the trailing arm frame. The prior owner cut out the right side trailing arm frame section but did not complete the job of welding in the new section so this car currently has only 3 wheels mounted on it. I do have the 2 frame repair sections from Moss Motors that only need to be welded in, and I have all new bolts and bushings for the installation of the trailing arm. The prior owner claims the motor ran and that the head was redone prior to his purchase. I personally have not had this car running but the motor does turn freely. The transmission is the 4 speed with overdrive. Factory wheels with like new tires. You will need to purchase a new convertible top but the convertible top frame is in good condition. The seat covers are like new but the foam needs to be replaced which I have purchased and will be included with this sale. This car is 95% complete. The only big items you need to purchase are the floor pans and the convertible top. This car can be seen prior to purchase if desired. Please contact me for arrangements.
