Selling my old Honda Trials 250 (TL250) simply because I don't ever ride it or play with it at all. It sits in a shed under a cover and that's not cool. I've had it for about 3 years and I don't know a ton about these bikes other than they were popular back in the 70's when the "trials" events were a fad. Gearing is really low in 1st and 2nd but then 3-5 are much higher. I think this was for the low-speed navigation of the trials courses. Here's what I do know about the bike; good and bad. Good:Runs great. As mentioned, it isn't ridden much but I go out and start it every couple months or so. A few kicks and it's up and going for a ride around the back yard.No smoke that I've seen. Engine good and healthy as far as I can tell.Tires are good. Not brand-new but lots of life on them.Brakes work.Gears all work 1-5Not rustedExhaust seems solid.Has great potential for a restore to original or something unique.Bad:Missing side-panelsSeat needs re-covering. Frame is good.Front fender is a little mis-shaped. Works fine but not perfectly straight.Rear fender is old and has a little cut place on it. Also, someone got spray paint on it.Old aluminum tank has a few dents but not too bad. Only concern is a slow weep of gas on the right-rear corner. Doesn't run out but will drip occasionally. I'm sure it could be fixed easily; just pointing it out.An after-market air filter is currently installed. This is how I purchased it and it seems to run fine like this.I believe that's about it. I always try to describe any issues so that there's no surprises. I know this one could be really cool if restored and also, can be ridden as is. Just want someone to be able to do either and not have it sit under my shed. Thanks and good luck!
