Vehicle Detail

1979 Bronco I purchased in 2011 from a farmer in North Dakota who had the truck stored in his barn for a handful of years. I bought the truck with the intent to restore it to match my '79 F-150, but I'm moving to Alaska due to work and I don't want to haul it up there. The truck would make a good candidate for restoration. It has a solid frame and body. The little body rust that the truck has on it is surface rust only and would clean up well. The right rear quarter panel has a small dent where the rust spot is near the side marker light. The transmission and transfer case seem to be very solid. The engine is a 2 barrel 351M. It runs but could use a tune-up/carb rebuild since it's been sitting for some time. The previous owner claims that the engine was replaced in '07, but he had no documentation to prove it, so I can't support that claim. The truck was an original 400M vehicle, so the engine was replaced at some point since its a 351M now, I just don't know when. Air conditioning doesn't work, but the parts are there. Radio doesn't work but I have a CD player for it sitting in the back seat that I hadn't gotten around to installing. The truck currently has bench seats front and rear, but includes spare captain seats for the front if you wanted to swap them. Electric rear window works. "Western-style" steel wheels with 30x9.50x15 tires. The front end seems to be pretty tight on the truck and it drives/steers well. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers is good, but they both have a dent in them. The battery is getting weak- it could use a new one. I'm not sure if the mileage has turned over 100,000 or not, but based on the age and condition, my guess would be it has not. Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have about the truck before bidding. $500 due through paypal within 24 hours of the auction's end, and the remainder due within 7 days either through paypal or cash in person. Delivery is not available.... the truck will have to be picked up in person or shipping arranged by the purchaser. The truck will need to be picked up in Hawley, MN by the 31st of July since I'll be leaving town. Thank you.
