Vehicle Detail
This is a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 190 Sedan. Also called a Fintail. The engine, transmission, drive train, exterior, and interior all seem to be original. My father purchased the vehicle roughly 6 years ago, and has sat for roughly 4 years now. The engine runs nicely, transmission shifts well through gears, after a carburetor rebuild and installation of a clear gas fuel filter, I see the fuel tank should be cleaned out because the filter is clogging up constantly. When the filter clogs up, the engine runs rough, and after clearing the filter, the engine runs smooth again. There are no drips or signs of leaks in the coolant, engine oil, transmission, rear end. The only leak I can see are from the brake master cylinder, onto the brake booster. The factory stereo works, original owners manual, auto trans owners manual, and stereo manual/warranty paperwork is together with pink slip and non-op paperwork. The car has original black/yellow plates, and the original Mercedes Benz Hollywood license plate frames. There is NO rust in the floorboards and rear quarters except for a very small portion of the right side wheel well. (light rust, and within 8"x8") I will answer questions as quickly as I can. I can take more pictures upon request.
