For sale is this 1990 Mustang LX 5.0. It has a K-M cold air intake. original 5.0 v-8 with AOD transmission. Originally the car was black with red cloth interior. It was painted white many years ago. The headlight assemblies were installed in the last 60 days. The convertible top was installed last summer. The interior needs to be gone through as it is original and shows the wear. It does have an aftermarket stereo with IPOD connections. The top end was done about six months ago, new intake gaskets and all the rest. The rack and pinion was replaced 2 years ago. The AOD was rebuilt 1.5 years ago. New tires on stock rims 5,000 miles ago. Radiator was changed when the top end was done. New pan gasket 2 years ago. Brakes and rotors about 10,000 miles ago. The window regulators need to be gone through as they are worn and don't behave 100 % like all fox body convertibles. Driver regulator and motor was just changed in the last month. Minor damage on the passenger side front end, but it needs paint and could be addressed then. All lights work and the top motor is wearing old. I would do interior, sun visors and door panels next. I would also paint it black to original. The rest of everything is pretty much original so it is worn and has been driven. Gets about 16 MPG in the city and runs strong considering all the mechanical that has been done to it. Open to your questions. Much more has gone into it than we will get out of it. My daughter drove it the last two and 1/2 years and purchased a new car. We just have to many other projects to keep working on this. She drove it every day to school and work, so it is reliable. and has been maintained. It has a clear Nevada Title and would be great for a first timer, or as a project that runs.
