Truck has a bad frame. Note, the cap is not included. It is a Dodge cap and is for sale on another auction. I do have an old tonneau cover that I will put on it. It has four excellent tires on it. Wrangler TD with about 1000 miles on them. I just replaced the front brakes, rotors, calipers, and shocks. I replaced the rear bumper last year, and the rear shocks last year. 4 wheel drive works great, and with the TD tires it will go in snow. The engine is the 5.0 L with 50901 original miles. It runs great. It has the K&N filter charger on it. It has had synthetic oil in it since I bought it in 1998 at 17,000 miles. Interior is in very good condition. I have a carpet layer over the original carpet since 1998, and it has had the catch-all liners since then also. Every thing in the truck works. Air conditioning is good, CD and Radio are good with the exception of the left door speaker. It just went out. Rockers are original and in great shape for a 1997. Bed is very good with one rust through at front of passenger side rear tire. It has a Pendaliner since new. The truck has a reconstructed title. I bought it from salvage in 1998. It had a front collision shortly after original owner bought it, and he would not accept a repaired truck. I replaced the front end myself with all GM parts except I added the K&N filter box to it instead of the original air box, and the fan clutch is aftermarket instead of GM. I could not pay the difference in price and it has been fine for the 33K miles since. There are no air bags in the truck. This is a great truck if you want to buy a frame and complete a project, of if you have a good frame and a bad body.On Jul-13-14 at 09:34:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added two pictures to the listing. There is a picture of the frame on both sides where it opened up on the bottom. The front shackle mount of each rear spring is shown, and the angle iron that I bolted in is shown. I put two grade 8 bolts on each side of the break, on each side of the frame and tack welded it in. 'In no way is this any kind of permanent repair". The angle appears like it has a light blue stripe down it. Hopefully this helps show where the current problem is.
