Please read the description fully and ensure that you can meet the obligations of this auction before bidding. I am selling my 1999 C43 AMG. Before seeing it, I didn't even know this car existed, I had to do a little research to make sure someone hadn't just put on some AMG wheels and fake badges, but this car is the real deal. One of only a handful of C43 ever made it to the US (1147 to be precise, half of which are probably off the road by now), this car is a wild one. Light weight, huge engine, and Mercedes quality and durability. This car is not in perfect condition, but it is pretty darn nice looking, and the problems are relegated to cosmetic issues. I'll list the minor issues:- Needs a new headliner- Steering wheel shows signs of use- Driver's side mirror needs replacing- Front bumper is loose, needs to be bolted back on properly- Small paint damage (slightly bigger than credit card) on the rear bumper- SRS light was coming on intermittently, but it seems to be either the passenger seat sensor as it has not come back on since I sat in the passenger's seat and wiggled around a bit. I have checked the Carfax, this vehicle has never been in an accident, minor or major, and has greenlights across the board for the Carfax problem areas (see pic)- Aftermarket radio has been removed, but the vehicle has all the proper wiring for a system including subwoofer- Buttons to collapse the rear seats are missing- A/C does not blow, I have not looked into this issue- Breaking is a little bumpy, had it checked by a mechanic and he said it needs to rotors to fix the bumpy breakingSo there's that, but like I said, it's mostly just little cosmetic stuff. The good things: - 110,600 original miles- Solid motor and trans- No scratches or marks on the paint- Seats are in very good condition, no rips or tears- Clean Title, No Accidents or major problems (verified by CARFAX, see pic)- Full-size spare with matching AMG wheel - The previous owner modified the exhaust and replaced the original with straight pipes. You can really hear the throaty power of the German V8Although this car's configuration is extremely rare, the parts are not. Almost all of the cosmetic parts from any C-Class W202 model fit on this AMG model. The W202 was produced from 1993-2000, so those parts are easy to find. Also, the AMG V8 under the hood was used in in many Mercedes models (97-00 C43, 98-02 E430, 98-03 CLK430, 99-01 ML430, 99-06 S430), so if you ever need engine parts, it won't kill you bank account. What makes this car rare is the combination of the C-class body and the 302bhp, naturally aspirated 4.3L V8. This motor transforms the relatively tame C-class into a rocketship. It's a very unsuspecting monster though, as when you let off the gas, the idle is so quiet you wonder if the car is even running. This is a fantastic vehicle that provides the class and spectacular driving experience you would expect from a top-of-the-line Mercedes.If you have any questions or would like more information, let me know- Dusty PLEASE READ: Payment is to be made in cash.
