1975 Honda CR 250. Serial #2001. Bike needs restored. I am the 3rd owner of the bike. Last owner had for 25 years. Was told the bike does start and shifts through gears,was also told bike may have original piston. Previous owners son sold me the bike. He said he pulled the head and the piston and rings still looked ok so it put it back together. The bike has compression and turns over, I didn't try to start because I was not sure if he put everything back together correctly. Motor is also stamped CR250 - 2001. Bike needs work. Front tire is flat, not sure if it hold air, didn't try to fill it up. Side case has been damage around front sprocket, does not appear that it would affect riding. Tank has dents, front fender is ok, back fender is cracked. Frames looks to be clean with no rewelds. Carb looks to be original, hand grips don't match.
