This is one of the COOLEST 1957 Chevy 3100 Patina Shortbed Big Back Window pickups you will probably find. We recently acquired the truck from the second owners. Mr. George Cochran purchased this truck new for his son as a surprise on December 14 1956 at Wilmshurst Chevrolet in Angels Camp California as indicated on the records that come with the truck. As you can imagine, his son was THRILLED to say the least. To start this truck has all its books, manuals, original dealer warranty paperwork along with registration cards dating back to the 1970's! It took me over 10 years to find this truck. While most are Red and Green, this was special ordered teal. It has its original 235 straight 6 and manual floor shift transmission. This truck is very original. of course it has minor dents, dings, scrapes, some paint blends, and minor cancer to be expected for being over 50 years old. I have to sell this one to sell due to personal circumstances. Don't snooze, you will wish you bought it later on in life. We recently got it running and sounds great and drove around the yard. However, it will need brakes, and wakeup work before driven daily on the streets, This truck is VERY solid and has a patina that makes you wanna foam at the mouth! its all complete, original, and ready to take to the next level.
