This BMW R1200RT is in tip-top condition, both visually and mechanically. It boasts every factory option, with the exception of the sound system: Electronic Suspension System (adjusts on the fly); chromed exhaust; heated seats; heated grips; Onboard Computer; ASC; Cruise Control; Clear blinkers; ABS; and an accessory outlet. Additional options include: Heated Leather Seats (original seats included); a second accessory outlet; aluminum foot brake extension; front fender flap; BMW tank bag; BMW top case; and glove box liner. The color is a beautiful Barritz Blue, with the black engine spoiler option. The motorcycle has 16,469 miles and has been meticulously maintained by its 60-year-old rider, including eight oil and filter changes, rear drive, brake, and transmission fluid changes. Major services include new spark plugs, valve adjustments, throttle body synchronization, and air filter changes. The bike has had all BMW recall services performed, as well as an ABS module service. The last major service was done in the spring of 2013 and the last oil and filter change this year (14,538 mi.). The Michelin Pilot tires (third set) have approximately 2,000 miles on them, and the wheels have been balanced. This is a favorite model among BMW enthusiasts. Oil and air-cooled, with two valves per cylinder, it is less complex and therefore less expensive to maintain. It handles superbly as a “sport bike” with the hard cases removed and is a highly competent touring bike for two-up riding with the three cases in place. The bike was built on 25 May 07 and entered service on 26 Jun 07 in Greenville, SC. I cannot imagine another bike having been more carefully treated, as it has been kept under cover in a climate-controlled garage. The bike comes with an enhanced tool kit, original owner’s manual, and other documentation. It has a clear NC title. The buyer is responsible for shipment, but I will do everything I can to assist the buyer with the process.
