This is a 1999 Mercury Cougar 5 speed manual transmission. It has a 2.5L v6 engine. We have owned it since 2008. In 2013 it had too much oil put in it and it started smoking. The oil was drained and we put a bottle of Blue Devil sealant in it and refilled with proper amount of oil. It doesn't smoke anymore. It never overheated. The car does have wear and tear. The sunroof is stuck and need a new motor,but the position that it is in it really doesn't leak. The leather on the seats is torn The rear passenger window is shattered but still intact. I believe a rock hit it when we were mowing grass. The clearcoat is peeling. Sometimes you really have to use some strength because it likes to pop out of 1st gear. The car ran when parked but the battery might need to be replaced because it has been sitting a while. There are no warranties or guarantees with the sale of this car.
