1959 Thunderbird Convertible, 62K original miles, black, 352 cid, cruise-o-matic, black interior. This car has been in our family for forty-five years. My father purchased it in 1969, moved to Maine, and in 1973 he parked it in a barn. It ran at that time. Car is now in central New Jersey. My dream was to restore it, but my health will not allow that to happen. It's been parked inside for the last twenty years. I’m sorry to say it has some areas of rust (see pictures), but is complete and original. I drove this car as a teen (c1970), and it was very powerful, fast and real stylish with the top down. We’re hoping to find it a good home with better prospects for its restoration.
