The 1600 GTL is in terrific condition. I originally bought this to ride from Florida to the northwest coast of the country on a 3 week ride. The trip was uneventful except for a rear tire puncture somewhere in Montana. I had that repaired and had both tires replaced upon ny return to Florida. I think that was at about 8500 miles. I have not ridden it much since that trip in the late summer of 2011 as I have a number of motorcycles and do not plan on any further extended trips. The selling dealership was Eurocycles of Tampabay and they can provide you with any answers you may have regarding this motorcycle. About 2 years ago I relocated the GTL to western North Carolina and have it serviced at Touring Sports in Greenville SC. Service paperwork will be provided. All scheduled service had been maintained per BMW requirements. All recalls have been taken care of including the most recent last month (dipstick and fuel pump collars). The GTL1600 is located at my home in the mountains of NC within a 40 minute drive from Asheville airport. You may consider flying into Asheville where I'll meet you then bring you to the BMW and you can ridiet home. I will not ship this or deliver it. That is your responsibility. The BMW is owned outright and there have never been any lienholders on it. I will accept cash and the buyer may ride this motorcycle once I have received the funds. I will also accept a cashiers check but the buyer may not ride this until the funds in the cashiers check have been verified. The title will not be signed in either case until either of these two approaches are completed and proof of identity provided via drivers license. I will not accept PayPal.
