1991 Honda Civic Si Race car. This car should be raced. The car ran for a few years in the New England Hillclimb Series. hillclimb dot orgIt then sat for years in my garage when I resurrected this spring by going through the fuel system back to front. Car has a header to a straight pipe and a cherry bomb with a down turn. 4 way adjustable gas KYG AGX shocks on Tenzo coil over springs. The car starts on one crank, runs smooth, and drives. Look at the photos, the stock interior is out of it and adjustable racing seats are in with 5 point harness and a roll cage. There are rub marks, dings and pucks, but no real rust of which to speak.The street tires are 95% on steel wheels and I will throw in the race rubber with the sale, Kuhmo V700s on 80s era Honda allow rims.There are some spares. A 4 speed out of an earlier CRX and the fuel system parts.It is a 23 year old car so I am sure there are things wrong with it, but I dont know what they are. You will likely find out when you start using it. I'm pretty sure it will need some sorting out. This thing is ready for fun! Think Chump car or 24 hours of Lemons! Honda dependability. No Reserve!!! It is obvious to me by looking at the photo, however I just want to be clear that the car has a cracked windshield. On Jun-29-14 at 15:15:39 PDT, seller added the following information: The roll cage is custom welded by CFR welding in Manchester CT. He did a top notch job. There is room for additional bars and loops. As the car was raced on hillclimbs, there are braces against the wheel wells to prevent the crushing of the legs in the event of hard impact against rocks or trees. There is room for a bar across the dash board if desired or to meet safety requirements of whichever racing certification.
