Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is my 2005 Honda CRF450X. It is a low hour bike, never raced, but maintained by a family of racers. Extremely low hours, around 50. All plastic are is good shape and not faded. It has a Rekluse clutch with the perch adjuster. This bike was bought for my wife so she could play around our dirt streets. The Rekluse helped her with that and as did the push button start. The bike is all original with no abuse. My wife moved into motocross bikes and this one has been sitting for a couple years with minimal use. Only the occasional ride to work. Yes you read that right. This bike is street legal and is titled as a street bike, not off-road only. Check you state laws, but the title is a street title and not a restricted off-road only title. I have even left the last Texas vehicle inspection sticker on it. Currently registered and titled in NM. We are reducing our inventory of bikes as not to see them fade away into rot. So grab this one up before your neighbor does and get into the back country legally or strap this onto the rear of your RV and go have fun. Research the CRFX models and make sure you understand it is a stripped down, bare necessities bike. If you are looking for a mainly street bike, look into a XR or similar model. If you want a fun ride both on and off road, then this is it. Or if you want the Supermoto base bike ready for the street, here it is. Before you hit the streets, I would put another sprocket on the rear with replacing the chain. You may want to go through the carb because it has basically been sitting, ridden every couple of months or so. But the bike starts within a couple of kicks or a couple of cranks of the push button. There are a few lean pops on decell coming, probably the pilot jet given todays crappy gas and the tendency to varnish quickly. All the plastics are in great shape showing no signs of fading. The front fender and the right side panel has a few scratched where the wife gave it a bit much gas coming out of the corner, but this bike has never been wreck or rode hard. No seat rips. Refer to the pictures and before you bid or buy, please ask questions or ask for more pictures. Thanks for looking and ride safely. I almost forgot shipping. You want it, you need to set up a shipper. I will be more than happy to deliver for gas money one way within 500 miles of 88081.
