KNOWN HISTORY: This super-clean and super-sweet car has enjoyed a single owner and has always been garaged. Very well maintained, the interior and exterior wear and tear is consistent with the original 34,799 miles and age of the vehicle. This vehicle was donated to the local Meals on Wheels program as part of an estate donation. I was able to speak to the donor, who informed me this was his late Mother's vehicle. This vehicle. was recently driven on an 800 mile round trip. This was the best road trip I have ever had. The vehicle sailed down the highway as if it were meant to fly. Very comfortable, with velvet smooth three-speed transmission. In my experience, the engine on this vehicle is extremely reliable. A cold start and the engine revs right up. This car has been personally detailed and looks absolutely amazing. EXTERIOR: This 1979 Lincoln Mark V Continental is laser straight and in overall very good condition. Brilliant gold original paint with subtle burgundy pin-striping. Stunning chrome trim, bumpers and Rolls Royce style grille. Vinyl half-top roof and gleaming windows. Rear opera windows have engraved Lincoln logo, with many other design features that are unique and over-stated. INTERIOR: Ivory, beige and brown interior. The velvet upholstery (split-bench front with individual armrests) is in extremely good condition and the carpet and original floor mats are mint. Overall vinyl is quite beautiful and the upper dash is mint with no cracks. Interior mirrors and lights in superb condition with a very elegant lighting design. Cartier clock on driver’s side dash. Impressive interior space. Also includes original full floor (front and back) protective vinyl mats. The mats are very yellowed, but were used by the original owner since new. When I removed them, I discovered the pristine carpet and mats in mint condition.
