If you are looking for a super clean Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport with the 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder, new Rampage soft top, and 5 speed manual transmission, this is the nicest one you will ever find! This Jeep has been well cared for and recently updated with a complete NEW Exterior, paint, soft top, and mechanical repairs. THIS IS THE LARGER ENGINE MODEL AND NOT THE 4 CYLINDER - AGAIN THIS IS THE BIGGEST ENGINE FOR 1998 MODELS This was my sisters Wrangler, that she bought from Texas when she lived down there. She brought it up to Ohio, and drove it during the summer months for 2-3 years before getting a new vehicle. I loved it, the open air freedom, the enjoyment of the manual transmission, and I loved the Moss Green Pearl coat paint. With only 103k miles, this Wrangler was hardly driven by its original owner, just garaged. It has been undercoated every few years, which is starting to flake off a little as you can see on the underside photos. This vehicle has a professionally installed 4" BDS Suspension lift, and drives just like a Wrangler should. Earlier this year, I decided to give the Jeep a complete overhaul. It has some surface rust on the front fenders and oxidation on the paint on the other panels - I wanted something that looked brand new. They replaced the front fenders, and sanded all the other paint down on the rest of the Jeep. They repainted the entire vehicle Moss Green Pearl Coat - and it looks AMAZING. Like a BRAND NEW JEEP. I also had them black out the new chrome hood latches, and headlight surrounds, as well as rear bumper. I put a new more aggressive front bumper on, and put new 33" x 12.5" x 15" Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac All Terrain Tires (5, including the spare,) on my Cragar wheels. I also bought a brand new BLACK Rampage Soft Top last month - with brand new velcro and zippers, it is a dream to get on and off. It came with new soft door frames and windows, all new tinted rear windows, and new tinted back glass. Mechanically, it runs and drives great. Last year the clutch was replaced, as were the wheel bearings and brakes all the way around. This year, we replaced the converter, transfer case, and front and rear driveshafts. Fluids were changed every 3,000 miles or 3 months. Coolant flushes every 2 years, and this Wrangler has NEVER given me any problems. The motor DOES NOT have the usual tick you hear on 4.0s - it runs as quiet as a cat purring. The transmission shifts through the gears as smooth as butter, with not a single issue or odd noise. A full tune up was performed, including new plugs, wires, etc a month ago as well. The interior is very clean for its age, and the seats, dash, and carpet look great as you can see. There was one tiny rip in the seat that has been sewn. The sound bar sounds great, is extremely loud and clear, and the MP3/CD Player works great as well. All in all, I think you will have an EXTREMELY hard time ever finding another TJ Wrangler as nice as this one. The ONLY reason I am selling this amazing vehicle is because I found out my wife is pregnant, and this vehicle is not very car seat friendly, or easy to get in and out of. I have two other vehicles, so this one, sadly, has to be the first to go. I do need to remind everyone that this is a used car, and it not new from the factory, but it sure looks like it.
