Vehicle Detail
This is a Ford British Escort. The original Engine has been replace with a capri Ford V-6. The Title is free and clear. The level of rust is very low. it has it but I was very surprised on how little it had. It will fire up with a little starter fluid. the carb needs to be rebuilt or replaced. There is a online source in Europe. Not many of these car running around so it is a real head turner just the way it is. Lots of room for a little car. The doors lock. The windows work. The seats are in good condition. No headliner. On Jun-16-14 at 17:49:44 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a Ford British Escort. Not many of these car running around so it is a real head turner just the way it is. Lots of room for a little car. The doors lock. The windows work. The seats are in good condition. No headliner. UPDATED INFORMATION. I have received several good questions. I will do my best to answer. We are just about to move to Texas so I am will do my best to be as clear as possible. I had some front suspension work done so it would drive straight. I also bough the rubber for the front window but have not done the work. I does drive and I have driven it across town. I rather not do that again due to the fact i has no seat belts and I feel naked without them. As I said the carb needs more work so that was a issue also. Not all the gauges work but they appear to be stock. The seats have stitching that is coming undone. I have been under and inside and out and have not seen one rust hole or major damage to the body. One quarter panel has come loose as shown in photos I have added. The brakes are all there but need adjustment or cleaning up. one wheel you can tell the brake is rubbing. The safety brake works. The engine is a capri from the 70's. my mechanic had a idea but I cannot find the exact year. Parts should not be a problem. This is a project car. It should be a frame off rebuild as I wanted to do it. No broken windows on the car. I can open both windows. lock both doors. the rear is all there and works great.
