Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser. I have owned this vehicle since 2008, and done a ton of work to it, while driving it very little due to the fact I was out of the country most of that time- less than 4K miles, easily. This is an FJ80 model LC that will appeal to those that are interested in that particular body style and specifically looking for a LC. I will be perfectly honest with you, this is a toy. If you are looking for cheap, hassle free transportation that gets good fuel economy and has lots of power, keep looking, this isn't it. In fact, if you are not familiar with this vehicle, I really would rather not sell it to you or answer a lot of questions. It runs fine, 4-wheel drive works with no problems, but it's a 20 yr old truck with 185K miles on it, and all the known shortcomings of this model year- it is what it is. A/C works and blows cold air. It has the small nicks and dings in it that you would expect, but overall it looks great. It drives like a tank, but the suspension work did wonders for the handling- it will go in whatever direction you point, and it doesn't hunt all over the road. I pulled the rear seats and belts out and put in a carpeted plywood floor. I will include the seats and stuff with the sale. The front frame horns are slightly bent upward from a collision it had before I bought it. It's noticeable if you know about it, almost nobody else will notice. The interior is in pretty good shape for 20 years old- it's original, and it looks and smells like it. I have a ton of money invested in this, and I am obviously going to take a huge loss, but I am not interested in having a KBB value debate with anyone, because I am clearly asking more than it's worth on paper. Either you understand the value or you don't. I'm listing it for almost 1/3 of what I have in it with parts, labor, and original vehicle cost. Here is a list of all the add-ons and work done to it since I bought it: Valve Cover GastketO2 SensorsPlug Wires & Spark Plugs & Rotor Cap w/ButtonOil Pan GasketTransmission FlushBrake Line FlushSpeedo CableFan Shroud w/ New BeltsA/C Blower Motor & Squirrel CageEngine MountsDesludge & Oil ChangeFront & Rear Brake PadsFront RotorsTie Rods, all ends & Sides, R&P serviceLower Seal and Bearing AlignmentNew Chromoly Front Axle Assemblies w/ Heavy Duty Hubs, No Noisy/Clicky Birfield Problems!Wiper Arms and bladesAntenna MastMass Air Flow SensorHeadlampsAlternatorOld Man Emu 2" Lift Kit w/ Shocks/ StrutsFront & Rear Swaybarcomplete Urethane Bushing Kit for entire vehicle73" Roof Rack w/ Wind Deflector & Mnt KitCustom Made Light Bar For Roof Rack(5) American Racing Mojave Wheels W/ Spare(5) Firestone Destination A/T TiresSafari Snorkel KitARB Rear Bumper w/ Swing Out Spare Tire CarrierARB Front BumperWarn 12K lb WinchARB S9134 Lights Front BumperARB 900XS Lights Roof RackARB 8161 Backup Lights Roof RackAlpine Touch Screen Media Player w/ Hands Free BTAlpine Power PackAlpine Speakers Front/Back/TweetersAmplified SubwooferSirius Radio Tuner for Alpine DeckWindow TintingRhino Lined FendersGalaxy CB Radio w/AntennaExidy Volt GaugeDual Interstate Deep Cycle Batteries(Does Not Include The Inverter In The Picture) Total Invested, not including the cost of the vehicle, $18-19K
