Vehicle Detail

1965 Classic Mustang Base Coupe "Original C Code 289 Cubic Inch 2v-V8 Engine ~ C4 - 4 Speed Automatic Transmission"- Update -I have taken a few videos of the car running, I cannot get it to upload - if you interested in seeing them please send me your email address. Making this interesting, this will be a no reserve auction, if it does not sell this time, I will keep the car. "HISTORY" For your consideration is this, Great Classic 1965 Mustang Base Coupe. This Mustang has belonged to the same mature owner since 1998 and was restored by him and meticulously maintained and mechanically upgraded to what you see today. Over 41 receipts and service records where he restored the car that total an amazing $14,864 including a $6500 paint job, new interior and complete engine rebuild including upgraded chrome engine as you can see in the pictures. The original upgraded engine is mated up with the correct C4 - 4 Speed Automatic Transmission. Once the car was painted, engine rebuilt, new interior including headliner, new chrome on the engine, new chromed bumpers and new tires the car was for 7 years, and unbelievably the engine only has a little over 2000 miles on it since rebuild and runs great! The 289 CI engine delivers great power to the rear axle and takes off nicely. The Mustang is very tight and drives well on the road with very responsive steering feel and brake stopping ability. I recommend if possible to come preview and drive this car to measure the real value previous of purchase. I have owned the car for 2 years and only put 127 miles on the Mustang, so my loss is your gain. This is one of the nicest 65 Mustangs you will ever see in the most desirable color - Raven Black with a Black Vinyl interior and Black Vinyl top, very rare, I have never seen another one. It was sold locally here in Cincinnati and stayed in my area its whole life. It have a leaking seal between the engine and transmission with a very slow leak from sitting the seven years but does not affect performance. Here is your chance to own one of the nicest Mustangs around, it turns head everywhere. Below comes from the data plate on the inside of the driver door. This car is all original and hard to find in this condition. Feel free to make an offer, I am looking to sell and is for sale locally, so make me an offer. I received several offers via email and decided to not offline, I would have considered a few if they would have been official, so if you want to make an offer, even a low one, please make it on here. Thanks. Email with questions. NEW! On Jun-15-14 at 11:33:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Update - I had a guy that has restored several cars come over and look at the small leak and he indicated he thinks it is simply the transmission pan gasket leaking, it is a very slow leak and should be an easy fix. I cannot guarantee his assessment but am very confident he is correct from what I saw as well. Good luck bidding.
