Vehicle Detail
Up for auction, is a 1985 Honda Odyssey FL350 vintage racer from the 80's. This is an absolute wonderful machine, and doesn't need a thing- just a new owner. This beauty starts, idles, revs, and rides very well! Please look at the pictures closely, and message me for any further details. NO RESERVE, BID TO WIN! This machine has a liquid cooled head, which has "Team Northwest Honda", by Thomas Engineering machined on it. Electric start and battery has been removed to save weight. It uses a pull start that I have no trouble starting. I have not been inside the motor in any way, the previous owner said that it was fresh at the time I purchased it (I have only put a couple hours on it myself, as I am more of a collector than a rider). A quick compression check revealed 160psi on my gauge, but I believe it is even higher (my gauge wasn't quite seated). Progressive suspension, front and back. "Mitchell" aluminum race wheels in the back, ITP wheels up front. "Holeshot" tires in the front, "Turf Tamers" in the rear, both in great shape. Simpson 4 pt. harness. Relocated and adjustable upper shock locations up front. The roll cage has been slightly modified, and looks very good, as does the chassis. This machine also has a VERY nice aftermarket expansion chamber and slip on (could not find a name), but very high quality and very nice condition. K&N air filter w/ slotted airbox, jetting is right where it needs to be for this time of year in Ohio. I rode it around some today, and it runs and rides like a DREAM. No doubt, there is plenty more to say about this Odyssey, but I will let the pictures do the rest. This machine is ready to race or ride, it doesn't need anything but a new home! This machine has a cool history, and hope it finds a home that will appreciate it. I enjoy the nostalgia of the off road world, whether it be on 2, 3, or 4 wheels. I feel that this thing represents an era that is no longer here- and would love to see it go to someone that will appreciate and preserve it. Again folks, this thing is very, very fast. What you do with it is your business- but is not for the inexperienced or faint at heart. I am 5' 10", and this machine fits me like a glove. If you are much taller, you may be a little cramped. Clutch engagement is around 4,000 rpm, this thing is an absolute blast, and again- is VERY fast! I am sure this machine will make the new owner happy beyond words. Understand that this is an as-is sale, and will show wear and tear as it is a 30 year old machine. I have other priorities at the moment, but I still hate to see it go. This beauty will sell at NO RESERVE, bid to win! ********************************************************************** This auction is for (1) Honda Odyssey FL350, in stated condition. You are only buying one machine, as pictured. This machine will come with a bill of sale, and no other documentation. If it has a VIN, I sure can't find it. We can have this sale notarized if you feel the need, and can exchange funds at a bank or whatever feels safest for the buyer. This sale will be local pickup only, $100 due within 48 hours of auction end, via Paypal. The remainder of the funds will be cash only, no other form of payment will be accepted. I own 3 of these (1 other racer, very similar to this one), and this Odyssey is the nicest of all of them. I am selling this one first, as I anticipate it will sell for the most amount of money. Depending on how well this unit sells, will determine what I do with the rest of them. The buyer of this machine, will have first chance at other machines, and any other spare parts I have (I have A LOT!). I am easy to get along with, and will be more than fair if you have any interest in extras to go along with this machine after the sale. I am located in Mansfield, Ohio. Machine will need to be picked up at my location, and I would be more than happy to assist with loading arrangements. I have sold quite a few ATV's over the years, and will do my best to help you out in any way possible. If you have any interest in this machine, please send me a message through Ebay, and we can exchange phone numbers. I love the sport, and could talk ATC's, ATV's, and Odysseys all day long. Please contact me with any questions you have, I would be more than happy to answer them! Deposit of $100 due within 48 hours, full payment in cash due within 7 days. Thank you and good luck! On Jun-12-14 at 18:46:29 PDT, seller added the following information: To any of you folks that are bidding, or would like to bid- and would also like to look at this machine before going any further... Please message me and I will make time to show you this beauty. Please remember, this Odyssey is highly modified- and far from stock. I would not consider putting a younger rider in this machine, unless he has quite a few hours under his/ her belt. This thing is fast- no question about it. Please remember this unit is pull start, and mostly aftermarket. On the steering wheel, the electric start button is gone- as is the kill switch (I don't know where the stock one would have been located). This unit is well cared for- and again, I would be more than happy to show it in person by appointment. Please, if you have no or low feedback- message me prior to bidding to let me know you are serious. I don't have much time on my hands these days, and cannot afford to relist this unit again- or wait the delay that occurs with a non-paying bidder. Please message me for any further questions. I can also be emailed at my ebay handle- at aol dot com. Good luck and happy bidding!
