Up for auction is a very rare (only made one year) Suzuki GSXR-50. The GSXR-50 was made as a pit bike in limited numbers to promote the, then new, GSXR-750's and 1100's. The U.S. versions were not street legal so they did not have turn signals, a horn, speedo etc etc. What it does have is the ability to put a smile on the face of anyone who happens to have the pleasure of owning one or riding one. I've owned this machine for the better part of twelve years. I'm not exactly sure when I got it but it's been a while. I taught my wife how to ride on it before we had children. I bought is purely as an impulse because I'm such a fan of the GSXR. This is not your run of the mill "pocket bike" that is made in China. This is a legit GSXR made by Suzuki in Japan way back in 1987. As far as the condition goes; this is a 27 year old machine so it's got some bumps and bruises but over all the condition is good. Judge for your self from the pictures. She runs very well and starts right up with either the kick start or by bump starting it. The tires are dry rotted and should be changed. These tires can be had on Amazon for about 70 dollars for two of them. Be the envy of every old timer at your next track day by buzzing around the paddock on this little gem. What you get with the bike is one key, a title (the title is from Illinois and is not in my name. I got the title from the guy that I bought it from and never bothered to title it in New York), and an ultra rare GSXR 50 owners manual. I've never even seen an owners manual for this bike on Ebay but you'll get one when you win this little guy. If you check out GSXR50.com you can see all the details on this machine.
