I am selling a 1978 that has the origianl 2F engine that runs great and looks awesome. The fj has original 80,200 miles on her and I just gave her a old fashion tune up. I use only synthetic oil on my fjs and use Toyota parts if I can help it. I just installed a new full synthetic oil with new oil filter, new fuel filter, new air filter and new spark plugs and wires. The body is rust free and is in great shape as I had all the rust cut out and replaced with thicker steel panels. I installed new front fenders, new rear quarter panels, new full rear Sil, new rear bed, new mid bed, new both side rockers, new body mounts, new clutch, brake and gas pedals, and a new gas tank with a new sending unit was installed. All these part are from Cool Cruisers of Texas and they have thicker 16 guage metal compared to factory 18 guage metal. All new parts where properly welded back in the fj. Primer and three new coats of Toyota Freeborn Red(Toyota code T-309) applied to fj. The orginal paint was also Freeborn Red. Hundreds of dollores worth of new stainless steel bolts, washers, and nuts where installed New front and rear emplems with gaskets were installed. The white top is in flawless condition and tires have 90% tread on them. The rear tails lights that can be purchased from Cool Cruisers of Texas will need to be installed. I do not need help selling the fj and scammers will be reported. I do not want to trade, so please dont ask. The fj is being sold as is and you are welcome to preview the fj anytime. The winning bidder will be required to send a $2,000 depostit within 24 hours of end of auction and the remaining balance due in 3 days of end of auction. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds. I do NOT take paypal, so a wire or cash is preferred. I have the right to end this auction at anytime as it will be sold on a local basis as well.
