1967 Cadillac Calais 4 door hardtop sedan with 71,000 miles. This car has the 429 CI V8 mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission with less than 50 miles on the rebuild. The car was intended to be a donor for a 68 Cadillac Deville, however, there are too many small differences to use it as a donor. The car needs a choke adjustment, therefore it needs starter fluid to get it going. Once its going it literally doesn't stop, when you turn the key off the motor continues to run as it needs a new ignition coil. The engine idles silently and pulls hard and the transmission shifts like new (as it should being rebuilt in the last 6 months). This car has an excellent interior with a crack free dash and door panels and both benches are in great shape with the exception to a cigarette burn where the driver sits. The power windows all work except the rear passenger window, which works sporadically. This car does not have power door locks. The radio does not work. The climate control needs and AC compressor. The lower quarter panels have some surface rust that needs repairing. This would be a great project car that would be road worthy with a brake job and some minor engine work (tune up, ignition coil). The engine and transmission would also be great transplanted into a hot rod.
