Hello all, I am posting for sale my 1988 BMW 325iX Coupe with a 5 speed manual transmission and all wheel drive. There is 110,000 miles on it (estimated, as the odometer gears went bad for a few months before being replaced, but the car wasn't a DD) There is a lot of info, so here it goes: 1988 was the first year the iX was imported into the US. 310 were imported, 56 of which are 5 speeds in Zinnoberrot red. Not much. Besides the minor rust spots, the tach works intermittently, and the passenger window is slow to go up. Brake sensor and battery light sometimes are on with the dash, but there is no fault. 25 years old means it'll have some scratches, dings, dents, and some rust - but it's amazing how little of all of that it has for being this old. Mechanically the car is a dream, especially with an entire new aftermarket suspension and new brakes. Everything else works flawlessly, radio and OBC work, heated seats work, sunroof works and seals perfectly, its great. Most of all - the all wheel drive works! The viscious coupling works perfectly, I tested it with a jackstand test last year as well as this year. It's a great ride and I would like it to go to somebody that appreciates E30s and the rarity of finding a low mileage and great condition iX. I have not found another '88 with this low of mileage anywhere in the US. Please e-mail me with any questions.
