Up for sale is my 1982 Jeep J10. It has the 258 straight six with only 97,000 miles. The transmission is a T-176 4 speed manual with no popping or grinding. The 4 wheel drive works flawless. It has the carter bbd carburetor and has had the nutter bypass done. The choke is not quite set right but the carburetor itself has been professionally rebuilt. I am selling this vehicle because my family is growing and I dont have time for it. The truck could definitely use a new paint job. The dash pad is worn out. The tires are about 50 % tread. The front driveshaft works well but is a little shaky. The truck has factory a/c but does not blow cold, I believe a recharge and it would work fine. This truck has new fuel pump,fuel lines, fresh tuneup, and all fluids changed. The truck was originally a forest service truck and then sold to a owner of a car dealership who used it as a "run-a-round" truck. The mans health took a turn for the worse and it sat in the lot behind the dealership for about 12 years. I then but the truck off the mans son who was cleaning out the old back lot.
