Vehicle Detail
1930 Model A Ford Sedan This is a very nice origional Model A. It is very straight and has a good body with very little wear. All of the panels are origional and not aftermarket fiberglass. The fenders are the origional metal. It has not been restored it is an origional car with the exception of the electric starter, better tires that are new and easier to drive, and the wheels are from a v8 car from 1933(I was told but have not verified). The interior has been professionally restored and looks close to new. The restoration was done by a company in the North East U.S. a few years ago. This car has been owned by the same family for decades. The gentleman who passed away and left this car to his daughter built the tool boxes that go in front of the radiator at the bottom where the hand crank is installed. She told me he built one for this car and was at a rally for the Model A club of America and several people asked him to build one for there car. Well, he did. Then he ended up working more than he did before he retired so he finally just said no after building several hundred. You model A owners and club members may know who I am talking about. Out of respect I will not mention his name. This man took great care of this car and minded the original condition of the car. As far as I can tell all of the parts are origional. The paint is not layered and looks good. It does not have any bad fluid leaks in my garage. I can see a little seap around the rear end drain plug but not a leak. The engine sounds great and does not smoke or get hot. All of the switches, gages and leavers work as designed. The roof is in great shape and shows hardly any wear.It has been garaged and you can tell. At the request of the lady who inherited this car from her father, I would like to sell it to someone who will be keeping it and taking care of it. The plates do not go with the car or plate holder. I will be returning these to the family. The car shifts smooth and drives good. The clutch is good and never slips. The engine always starts right up. It will easily cruise at 50 mph and up to 60 but it likes the 45 to 48 mph area. All of the windows work and the front window opens and locks for the air to work, lol( just kidding the air is the front window opened and driving). Call me at 501-593-7448 with your questions. There is no serious rust, it is a southern car. On the pass side in front of the door above the fender there is some surface rust but not rusted through. Other wise good and solid. I am in Searcy Arkansas. I can help arrange shipping anywhere and can store the car up to a month at no charge.
