1967 BMW R69S. This bike was purchased from the original owner by Mike Wolfe from the TV show American Pickers. In 1967 a man in California bought not one but two 1967 R69s. They are two serial numbers apart. I own one and Mike Wolfe owns the other. The Bike comes with the Original Bill of Sale from Bill Roberts and Son's in Hollywood California. In 2012, Jerry Powell (well known BMW mechanic) went through the bikes completely. A list of all the work Jerry did on this R69S will come with the bike for your records. The speedo stopped working but no miles have been put on the bike since it stopped. Ran great when it was parked in a heated and cooled garage but hasn't been started in about 3 months. The solo seat tabs have been cut to accommodate the Hoske Tank. The Hoske Tank has some paint at the bottom near the petcocks that is bubbling. The pinstripes on the Hoskee tank are tape and not painted. (see photos) Original Key. Also included are the original Wixom Bags with original pinstripe and working tail lights. Tires are a few years old but have plenty of life left on them. This is a complete matching numbers bike with clear title in my name. Please ask all questions before bidding.
