Must sell due to military reassignment. *This is a 1997 Suzuki Savage that was upgraded via a complete Blue Collar Bobber kit in March of 2013. Kit included 11" seat fender and license plate mount ($735), front light kit ($106), rear light kit ($173), drag bar kit ($165), low profile bobber mirrors ($68), and drag pipe ($173). Total value of kit not including installation, painting the rear fender, and shipping is over $1400. In addition the following work/ items are included with this auction: Rear fender color matched by award winning Blackmon auto - pearl novelty black. Main tank has subtle flame patten. Custom Routy 6" Forward controls installed (original control mounts will be included if you want to swap back to stock dimensions). Chain tensioner was upgraded via VerSlavy chain tensioner mod at 15k along with new oil/filter. high flow and washable K&N air filter installed. Problematic vaccum driven petcock was replaced with gravity feed high flow Kawisaki Raptor petcock. Carb was tuned via Lancer's performance jetset kit (all extra other fuel jets and new carb gasket included if you need to adjust for different altitude/temp). Soft metal carb screws were replaced with stainless steel hex head bolts. Custom fab'd Avon coke bottle front foot pegs that match handgrips. Comes with owners manual and Clymers repair manual. 2/3 of a bottle of Red Line engine oil break-in additive will be included. Rear tire and battery both replaced 2 years ago and the battery has a standard 12v plug-in to attach to a battery tender or 12v accessories. Finally, note that I have both style license plate mounts - currently the vertical plate mount is used but the horizontal plate mount is included if your state requires it (Florida). This is a great bike for experienced riders and first time riders alike. Currently at 15k miles but it is my daily driver so miles will be slightly higher as I ride when the weather is good. It's fun to ride and sports a cheap gas and insurance bill. This is a sweet looking little bike and the belt drive makes for smooth city commuting as well as those relaxed joy rides in the country. Check the suzuki savage forums and you will see that a well maintained bike like this with the raptor petcock and VerSlavy chain tensioner is virtually bullet proof. Shipping can be arranged by seller. The cost is estimated to be between $950 and $1350 and is based on a qoute from haul bikes dot com to the lower 48 (does not including Key West, DC, or 5 NY boroughs). Buyer also has the option to arrange shipping on their own but note that I will not drive further than Dothan Alabama to a freight drop off location.
