Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING! THANK YOU! For sale is my 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra All of the motor work done to the car was done by PCM (Piedmont Custom Motorsports) out of Raleigh, NC. I have receipts with thousands of dollars worth of work done to the car that will go with it. Motor: (About 15,000 miles on built motor) Diamond racing forged aluminum pistons High performance pistons rings Performance engine bearings (Mains and Rods) Eagle specialty H-Beam forged connecting rods MLS headgaskets ARP head stud ARP replacement maincap stud ARP replacement maincap side bolt kit Melling high performance oil pump with billet gears Transmission: Stock TR3650 Steeda Tri-ax short shifter Suspension Front: H&R Race springs (About 20,000 miles on them) Tokico blue struts (About 20,000 miles on them) Steeda X2 balljoints BBK steering rack bushings MM caster/camber plates Suspension Rear: Solid Rear Axle out of 2003 mustang gt Eibach pro kit springs Koni yellow adjustable shocks (About 2,000 miles on them) Moser 31 spline axles Moser 31 spline diff ARP extended lug studs MAC diff brace UPR U/L control arms FRPP 3.27 gear with rebuild kit. (About 2,000 miles on it) Exhaust: Bassani o/r x pipe Bassani Catback Exterior Cobra R hood Mach 1 chin spoiler Tinted windows SS bumper inserts Wheels: 18x9 Chrome saleen wheels with 255/45 street tires (40% tread) 18x10 Chrome saleen wheels with 305/35 Nitto 555r (85% tread) Interior: Single Din cd player The car did have nitrous on it but I have since removed the bottle, nitrous psi gauge, nitrous switch panel and heater. It is still wired for nitrous so if you wanted to add it back it would not be hard at all. There is a bottle bracket mounted in the rear of the trunk. The car made 401/470 on nitrous and 274/284 on motor. The car ran a 12.5@113 with a 1.993 60ft. This car has 11's in it easy with a better 60ft. The Bad: I would rate the paint a 6/10. It has quite a few rock chips on the front hood and front bumper. The rear bumper and trunk lid have some water spots in them but they are hard to see unless you are up close to the car. I would rate the interior a 9/10. There are a few imperfections but generally in good condition. The windshield has a small chip in it from a rock flying up and hitting it. It is about an inch long. The throwout bearing squeaks intermittently. The front right wheel is missing the center cap. The car has a small oil leak. It is barely noticeable when having my oil changed. The oil pressure gauge randomly drops to zero but if you know anything about these cars you know the gauges they put in from the factory aren't very accurate at all. SAP(Seminole Automotive Performance) out of Seminole,Tx has done a leak down test and the results came back great. I have also had a compression test done and each cylinder was within 5 psi of each other. The speedo is off. The car had 4.10's in it but I had them replaced with 3.27's. I have a SCT tuner for the car but can't seem to get the speedo back to the correct speed. The transmission is showing signs of its age. Every now and then it can be a little tough to get into first and reverse. Once you start moving it shifts flawlessly. There is no grinding whatsoever. The drivers side window rolls up too far so when entering the car it is required to roll it down just a hair to have the door shut and then you can roll it all the way back up. This is a great looking and great running car that could use a little TLC. I have listed everything to my knowledge and have attached pictures to show everything the best I can. This car is ready for boost! Throw a turbo or blower on it and a t-56 and make some big power! I do have this car listed for sale locally so at anytime I may end the auction if it sells. A nonrefundable deposit of $250 is due within 24 hours of winning bid via PayPal. The title is free and clear and I have it in hand. If you have any questions send me a message on here with an email or phone number and I will get back to you promptly. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty. HAPPY BIDDING!!!
