1948 PackardSuper 8 Touring SedanSelling another one of my pops classic cars. My dad is 74 years young and does not have the time it takes to drive or do the upkeep on all his old cars.....Here is your chance to own a classic 1948 Packard, over the years this car has had lots of tender loving care. The odometer shows 61,262 miles and the car is powered by a smooth running original straight 8 engine and the transmission is the Electromatic 3-speed with overdrive although I am not completely sure how it operates. The car has not been driven much over the years, All the Interior upholstery & carpet is all new, the headliner is original. All the original wood graining is beautiful. The car was repainted the original Black (basecoat/clearcoat) and has a few imperfections like a few scratch's but still looks great and shiny. All the chrome was redone at a cost of over $5000 alone. The wide whitewall tires are new, the engine was completely detailed, the radiator was cleaned and checked, the battery is new. The brakes stop the car but might need to be bled as they are a little soft feeling. The fender skirts are included although were never repainted (some paint is included) also included is the original jack and a repair manual and some extra trim mouldings.Options for this car are the Radio, antenna, bumper guards, electromatic trans with overdrive, wheel beauty rings.
