Here is a nice little Mercedes benz 300E from 1987.I bought the car because it came out of an estate with a clean 1 owner Autocheck report and low miles.After getting it home I changed the oil,transmission fluid and filter,fuel and airfilters and flushed the brakes.New plugs were installed and state inspection was passed,replacing the sticker that went out in 2010.I have been driving the car as a daily driver for about 6 months and it performed well.Plenty of power,a great heater and defroster,all windows and sunroof work,the radio does not,the a/c does not blow cold.The steering is tight and the engine is strong.The odometer quit working about 100 miles into my ownership.I have bought a stationwagon of the same kind and year and don't need the sedan anymore.A great car of sensible size with plenty of power,comfort and safety features make this a good car to own.Gas mileage is very nice at low 20s in the city and close to 30 on the highway.At 75kmiles,there are probably another 150k left in this car.The interior is very clean,the paint is faded.This a very well balanced and nimble car that has been very well designed in a teutonic way.Parts are easlily obtained and dare I say it on the cheap side of reasonable.Finding an American or Japanese car that is 27 years old and this tight might be a long search.For test drives or questions please call 214/707 9525.Tx residents have to pay tax title and license fees,trades for old motorcycles[76 and down] considered.
