. Up for auction is a 1962 Rambler American 400 convertible. From what I understand this is a rare car. Not just because it is a convertible, because it is highly optioned. The options include: OHV 6cyl, automatic, air-conditioning, power steering, power top, padded dash, dual mirrors, and a clock. The engine and trans. have been rebuilt with receipts to document it. The brakes and suspension have also been rebuilt. This is a one repaint, original sheet metal car, with only 2 small patches in the trunk. It only has 89,000 original miles. It also has a brand new top that was installed about a month ago. Car runs and drives great, and comes with a lot of literature. Inspections are welcomed.
