1966 Rambler American 440. has a 307,automatic trans. Hurst quickshift, Summit 4 barrel double-pumper carb.this car is very quick and burns rubber as soon as you hit the gas. Drum brakes. staggered Cragar rims. true Side pipes. body is solid and excellent condition, frame and floor very solid.needs shocks.window and door rubber worn.lights,turn signal all work as well as speedometer.has tachometers also.the original miles were only 16,000 before motor was switched, so clean for an Ohio car.dash is not perfect.a knob is broken off and is has a aftermarket ignition.no keys for the doors,and is missing trunk lock,but easy to open.windshield wipers not working.if their was ever bondo on this car,i can't tell.small bubbling under paint.not much at all.will have to be towed because the shocks,preferably flatbed.any questions? it is for sale locally as well,so i may end early if it sells. To me,the floor and frame are the #1 thing you look for to be right.everything else is cake.
