1984 Mercedes 300TD TD, ~257,000 miles- Classic Turbo Diesel - 28mpg Re-listed. I don't get it, this is a good car. I have $6500 in it. Solid, Good, Reliable basic transportation with classic styling. Was my daily drive.Tinted windows, good tires with lots of tread, runs great, rides smooth, very reliable, original Becker stereo works fine. Body is in good shape with only the little dents as mentioned before. Has the desirable Euro headlights. Engine starts up immediately, transmission shifts smoothly, steering alignment is straight. Gas mileage has always been around 28mpg. Great highway cruiser. This is a classic 80's MB Diesel which are known for solid bodies and long lasting engines that can go for a million miles if proper care and maintenance is given. This is a great car for dependable, low maintenance and low cost transportation. Easy to maintain as it's a pre-90's, before all of the electrical / computerized automation. It has classic lines and chrome trim of the early 80's and stock aluminum wheels.
