Vehicle Detail

Hi and thanks for looking at my listing. I’m selling my 1966 Ford Bronco because I’m moving overseas and don’t expect to return within the next 5-10 years. My brother and father are helping me show the Bronco after I leave the country. I purchased this truck in the Seattle area in 2001 and drove it back to Michigan where I’ve had it garaged ever since. Between 2008 and 2011 I started making improvements on the vehicle as time/money permitted. I had the fuel tank and fuel lines replaced, brakes redone, fully rebuilt the 289 ci engine and switched to electronic ignition, upgraded to a heavy duty radiator and added power steering. Some details on this truck: · U15FL805665, 1966 Wagon, built in the Michigan Truck Plant. Originally with a 160 ci engine, upgraded to a 289 Ford powerplant· Odometer currently reads 19227 miles; actual mileage unknown· Currently with a 289 ci engine, slightly over-bored during a 2010 rebuild. < 750 miles on rebuilt engine. · ‘Three on the Tree’ manual transmission· GT Radial Adventuro A/T II (31 x 10.50 R15) tires with < 500 miles (2011)· New Battery (May 2014)· New heavy duty radiator with additional electric fan and manual fan activation switch on dash, < 750 miles (2010)· New gas tank and fuel line refurbishment (2009)· Power steering conversion kit (2010)· Holly 2-Barrel carb w/ K & N air-filter· Electronic ignition· A.P.E. Alternator· Dual exhaust, headers· Warn 8274 Winch (never used by me)· Kenwood KRC-207S AM/FM/Tape with removable faceplate· Silver bucket seats in front w/ shoulder belts· Silver bench seats in rear w/ lap belts· New car cover, including spare tire cover· Four-point roll-bar (bolted on)· Aftermarket gauge cluster · GT Grant steering wheel· Reese tow-hitch receiver· Undercoating· Custom built bumpers (front/rear) with spare tire swing-arm As with any 48 year-old vehicle, there are imperfections but this Bronco is nearly rust-free on the exterior and frame. This truck starts on the first crank and sounds great when you give it the gas! When I pulled it out of storage this spring, the battery would not keep a charge and the headlamps and tail lights are working intermittently… probably a ground fault. My dad will check to see if this has a quick fix, but I don’t plan to repair this before sale. Local pickup or buyer is responsible for shipping from Kingsley, MI. Vehicle runs and is in great shape - BUT IS SOLD "AS-IS" - NO RETURNS, NO WARRANTY and NO REFUNDS. Payment in cash, certified check, or bank transfer. $500.00 deposit within 2 business days of purchase and balance due 3 business days after that. This Bronco is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end bidding for local purchases.
